MUBARAK URGES ISRAEL TO COMPROMISE ON JERUSALEM

PARIS [MENL] -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has urged Israel to makecompromises and seize the opportunity for a peace agreement with thePalestinians. "Peace is now or never," Mubarak said. ''Israel needs to be willing tobend," he told the Paris-based daily Le Figaro Friday. ''They [Israelis]have everything, a state, an army and the territories taken in 1967. ThePalestinians have nothing," he said.
