TURKEY BUYS $204 MILLION SPY SATELLITE

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has signed a $204 million contract with a Frenchdefense group for its first spy satellite. Turkey signed the contract with France's Alcatel after the companyslashed its prices in competition with Israel Aircraft Industries thatoffered Ankara its Ofeq spy satellite at $274 million.
