BARAK OUTLINES HIS SECULAR REFORM PLAN
JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Prime Minister Ehud Barak announced he will enactreforms meant to separate state and religion in Israel. In the first outline of his policy, Barak said he wants to enact civilmarriages, launch public transportation on the Jewish Sabbath, close theReligious Affairs Ministry and remove the listing of religion on mandatoryidentification cards.
