MUBARAK LAUNCHES NEW AGENDA AS ELECTIONS APPROACH

CAIRO [MENL] -- President Hosni Mubarak has launched a reform program as aleading human rights organization has accused him of muzzling theopposition. Mubarak's program pledges what officials describe as radical changesthat would eradicate illiteracy, halt overpopulation, increase healthbenefits and improve the standard of living. Egypt has 65 million people.
