WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States is showing signs of frustration overthe lack of progress in bridging the gaps between Israel and the PalestinianAuthority toward a peace treaty. U.S. officials said Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are meeting inIsrael and are repeating the same disagreements in both final status andinterim status issues. At this point, the official said, each side expectsthe other to concede on such issues as the future of Jerusalem andPalestinian refugees.
