SUDANESE UNREST SPREADS TO KHARTOUM

CAIRO [MENL] -- The student unrest against the Sudanese government hasarrived in Khartoum. Witnesses reported clashes between an estimated 500 university studentsand riot police on Monday in the center of the capital. The witnesses saidpolice used tear gas and clubs while the students responded by hurlingstones.
