INDIA, RUSSIA SIGN DEFENSE PACT

NEW DEHLI [MENL] -- India and Russia have signed a strategic partnershipagreement. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Atal BehariVajpayee signed the treaty on Tuesday in New Dehli. The accord bolsterscooperation in defense and nuclear technology.
