ISRAEL, PA AGREE TO CEASEFIRE

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel and the Palestinian Authority have agreed to aceasefire as Israeli troops continued to be under fire in the West Bank. Hours after Israeli officials confirmed an agreement on a ceasefire,Israeli border police and troops came under gunfire and firebombs in theareas of Gaza, Hebron, Jenin and Ramallah. Palestinians also hurled stonesand firebombs in two Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem and in nearbyBethlehem.
