MOSCOW [MENL] -- Russia has successfully launched a U.S. communicationssatellite as Moscow accelerates its satellite booster program. The Russian Proton rocket launched into orbit the GE-1A televisionsatellite over Asia on Monday. The Russian space agency said the 3.9-tonU.S.-made satellite successfully separated from the Proton's upper stage.
