ARAB FOCUS IS ON WEEKEND SUMMIT

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who closed aU.S.-sponsored peace meeting between Israeli and Palestinian leaders, hasnow turned his attention to an Arab League summit scheduled for the weekend. Mubarak has been telephoning Arab leaders to ensure their attendance tothe summit on Saturday in Cairo. Already, Libyan ruler Moammar Khaddafy saidhe will not attend as Arab leaders disagree over the goal of the conference.
