ARAFAT ACCUSES ISRAEL OF PLANNING TO KILL HIM

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat has accusedIsrael of planning to assassinate him. The Palestinian news agency Wafa warned of what it termed was Israeligovernment incitement to kill Arafat. It was the first time the PalestinianAuthority suggested that Arafat was a target of an Israeli assassination.
