IRAN'S SHIHAB CONTINUES TO HAVE PROBLEMS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran's Shihab-3 missile continues to fall short ofexpectations. U.S. officials said that despite Russian aid the Shihab-3 has notdemonstrated the success of the system's engine and guidance system. Theofficials attributed this to the incompatibility between the North Koreanmissile and the Russian subsystems.
