IRAQI FORCES END THREAT TO JORDAN

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- A force of up to five Iraqi divisions appears to haveended its threat of approaching west to the Jordanian and Syrian borders. Israeli intelligence sources said the force is dispersing and moving toother areas of Iraq. The sources said the Iraqi troop movement was meant toexpress President Saddam Hussein's solidarity with the Palestinians ratherthan represent a military threat to the Jewish state.
