JORDANIAN KING CUTS SHORT VISIT AMID TENSION

AMMAN [MENL] -- Jordan's King Abdullah abruptly cancelled plans to visitBritain and has returned home amid tension with his Palestinian majority. Abdullah and his wife Rania arrived in Amman from the United States onTuesday. The monarch cancelled his trip to Britain. Jordanian sources saidAbdullah plans to return to London next week.
