U.S. SEEKS IMPROVED TIES WITH KHARTOUM

CAIRO [MENL] -- A high-level U.S. delegation began talks with Sudan todraft a road map for improving relations. The U.S. delegation, composed of senior State Department officials,arrived in Khartoum on Thursday. The delegation was expected to focus on aplan to improve diplomatic and security relations with Washington.
