LONDON [MENL] -- A political scandal in France has disclosed details of thecontinued use of bribes in obtaining weapons contracts in Saudi Arabia. The scandal involves the alleged bribes of nearly $700 million to Saudiintermediaries in the 1994 sale of French frigates to Riyad. The bribes weretermed as commissions.
