ALGERIA, SOUTH AFRICA DISCUSS DEFENSE TIES

CAIRO [MENL] -- Algeria and South Africa plan to continue to expand theirdefense relations. The two countries discussed defense ties over the weekend as part of animprovement in bilateral relations. The expanded defense ties are expectedto include new arms sales by Pretoria to Algiers.
