HEAVY FIGHTING NEAR EGYPTIAN BORDER

GAZA [MENL] -- An 11-year-old Palestinian boy was killed in a clash near theEgyptian border as officials voiced concern over a major escalation in thewar with Israel. The 12-year-old was struck by Israeli gunfire on Saturday, PalestinianAuthority officials said. They said three other youngsters were wounded inthe fire.
