IRANIAN MISSILE CHIEF DIES MYSTERIOUSLY

LONDON [MENL] -- An Iranian defense official termed as the father of theIslamic republic's intermediate- and long-range missile programs has diedunder mysterious circumstances. Col Ali Mahmoudi Mimand was found dead in his office in Teheran on lateMonday. Iranian authorities are investigating the death and so far have notruled out the prospect that he was assassinated.
