ISRAEL FOILS ATTACK ON JEWISH SETTLEMENT

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- An Islamic insurgency commander has been killed in anIsraeli attack as the military foiled a Palestinian attack on a Jewishsettlement in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian attack was on the Jewish settlement of Dugit in thenorthern Gaza Strip. Israeli sources said three Palestinian insurgents werekilled when they tried to enter the settlement overnight Friday.
