CLASHES CONTINUE BETWEEN PA AND DISSIDENTS

GAZA [MENL] -- Clashes have continued between Palestinian Authority forcesand dissident combatants over the future of the war against Israel. On early Tuesday, a shootout erupted in Gaza City between PA militaryintelligence forces and members of the Palestinian committee that lead theinsurgency against Israel. The fighting stemmed from a protest by thecommittee of PA arrest of a Hamas squad that fired mortars toward Israel onSunday.
