EGYPT CALLS ON U.S. TO STOP ISRAELI ARMS BUILDUP

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has called on the UnitedStates to stop supplying Israel with weapons. In an unusual call from Mubarak, the Egyptian president said U.S.military support of Israel would foment instability the region. He saidthis includes Israeli development of nuclear weapons.
