IRAQ SPECIFICALLY THREATENS ISRAEL

NICOSIA [MENL] -- For the first time, Iraq has specifically threatenedIsrael withretaliation for any U.S.-led campaign against the regime of President SaddamHussein. A senior Iraqi diplomat said Saddam has seven million combatants calledthe Quds Army. The diplomat said Iraq would "swallow Israel up" if hiscountry is attacked.
