FRANCE TO BEGIN TRAINING OF LEBANESE MILITARY

NICOSIA [MENL] -- France is preparing to train the Lebanese military. Lebanese officials said the training would be in the field of demining.Lebanon has sought international support for the demining of the south,where Israeli army troops had been deployed until May 2000.
