GREECE SIGNS DEAL FOR HOWITZERS

ATHENS [MENL] -- Greece has signed a contract for the procurement of 24 selfpropelled howitzers from Germany. The contract, signed last week, is for the PzH 2000 howitzer to theHellenic Army. Officials said delivery of the 24 howitzers will begin in2003 and conclude in 2004.
