ATHENS [MENL] -- Greece seeks to reduce the cost of maintenance of its airforce amid government cuts in defense. Officials said the Defense Ministry is examining ways to streamlinemaintenance costs of the Hellenic Air Force amid its procurements over thelast decade. Athens has purchased billions of dollars in new aircraft andhelicopters from a range of suppliers in a military modernization program.
