GULF ALARMED BY PROSPECT OF FOREIGN LABOR UNREST
ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Gulf Cooperation Council states plan to acceleratethe training of both military and civilian personnel in fear of risingunrest among foreign laborers. Training projects have been launched in every one of the six GCC states.Diplomatic sources said the Gulf regimes have concluded that the nearlytotal dependence on foreign labor endangers their security as they developtheir militaries and oil and gas sectors.
