ISRAEL SEES WAR IN 2002

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel has assessed an increasing prospect of a regionalwar next year. Israeli sources said military intelligence has drafted a report thatwarns of the increasing likelihood of regional war in 2002. The report saidthe war could be sparked by either an Israeli offensive against thePalestinian Authority or an escalation in tension along Israel's border withLebanon.
