ISRAEL READY FOR DECISION ON ELECTRONIC WARPLANES

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's air force appears ready to conclude a deal forthe purchase of electronic warfare aircraft. The air force has recommended the purchase of three electronic-gatheringintelligence aircraft from the U.S. firm Gulfstream. The Tel Aviv-basedHaaretz daily said the deal will cost $180 million.
