JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel's government appears divided over an Egyptianproposal to station U.S. observers in the Gaza Strip. The division pits Prime Minister Ariel Sharon against Foreign MinisterShimon Peres. Peres has agreed to an Egyptian proposal to station U.S.observers along the Gaza border with the Sinai peninsula.
