ISRAEL ABANDONS KEY BORDER POST

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military has abandoned a key post along theborder with Lebanon. Israeli troops were ordered to withdraw from their positions at theFatma Gate. The gate is outside the Israeli town of Metulla and for nearly20 years marked the entry point for Lebanese workers with jobs in the Jewishstate.
