ISRAEL CONSIDERS NEW CHANGES IN GROUND COMMAND

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military is examining the further restructuringofits ground forces. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Shaul Mofaz is considering recommendations toaugment the responsibility of the ground forces. This would includeexpanding responsibility for the building of forces as well as adding newunits to bolster the military's technological base.
