ISRAEL'S NAVY PROBES DOLPHIN SUB MISHAP
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's navy has launched an investigation into anaccident that nearly resulted in the sinking of its new Dolphin-class dieselsubmarine. Israeli military sources said the mishap took place last month during anexercise of one of three Dolphin submarines bought from Germany. The subinexplicably sank to a depth of nearly 100 meters in the Mediterraneanbefore it was brought up through emergency measures.
