KUWAIT, BELARUS IMPROVE DEFENSE TIES

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has decided to improve defense cooperation withthe former Soviet republic of Belarus. Gulf defense sources said the sheikdom's move is part of a policy tobroaden its range of military suppliers and improve ties with republics ofthe former Soviet Union. Most of Kuwait's weaponry is from the United Statesand Britain.
