KUWAIT READY TO RESOLVE C4I PROJECT

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has signaled its intention to launch along-awaited competition for a command, control, communications, computersand intelligence system. The project, estimated at $1.2 billion, could pit three leading Westernfirms in a competition. This, after Kuwait appeared to favor a British-U.S.consortium led by BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin.
