SYRIA PLANS TO SELL GAS TO LEBANON

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Lebanon has agreed to purchase natural gas from Syria. The two countries signed an accord over the weekend. The Syrian gaswould be used to power Lebanese electricity generators.
