OMAN DRAFTS MONEY-LAUNDERING LEGISLATION

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Oman has drafted legislation meant to prevent thefinancing of insurgency groups deemed as terrorists. Arab diplomatic sources said the Omani government is nearing completionof the legislation and will present a bill for approval within weeks. Thesources said the bill is being presented as one meant to fightmoney-laundering.
