OMAN STRESSES SKILLS IN MILITARY UPGRADE

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Oman has launched a drive to improve the skills andtraining of officers as part of Muscat's effort to modernize its military. The Gulf sultanate has embarked on several programs to train officers.Some of the programs are purely Omani and others are held in conjunctionwith other membersof the Gulf Cooperation Council.
