RECORD ATTENDANCE REPORTED AT DUBAI SHOW

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Organizers assert that the Dubai air show has broken anattendance recordfor the biannual exhibition amid the announcement of the largest aviationcontract in history. The 7th international aerospace exhibition, Dubai 2001, began on Sundayin the United Arab Emirates amid a reduced U.S. presence. The conference wasopened by UAE Defense Minister Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and termed theMiddle East's premier aviation event.
