CAIRO [MENL] -- Sudanese rebels have claimed new gains in the war in thesouth. The Sudanese People's Liberation Army said its forces killed more than100 government soldiers in fighting over the weekend. An SPLA statement saidrebels attacked a Sudanese military convoy near Panaru 630 kilometerssoutheast of Khartoum.
