STATE DEPT. BELIEVES EGYPT REMAINS WITHIN MISSILE LIMITS
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration has concluded that despiteEgypt's cooperation with North Korea the Arab country has remained withinwhat officials describe as acceptable limits on missile development. Administration officials said they have determined that their concernshave been assuaged by Egypt's replies on questions concerning missilecooperation with North Korea. The officials said they have receivedassurances from Cairo that Egypt is not developing a variant of a No-Dongintermediate-range missile.
