WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration is being warned that a majormissile defense program could spark tension with U.S. allies in Europe. The concern is over the Boost Phase Intercept program, meant to destroymissiles in their first stage of launch. Critics are warning theadministration that the destruction of missiles fired by Middle East roguestates could be shot down by U.S. defense systems and land in Europe.
