U.S. SEEKS CHANGES TO PROMOTE ARMS EXPORTS

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Bush administration is examining administrativechanges in the Pentagon that would ease restrictions on arms exports. The proposal would shift arms export policy from one office ofthe Defense Department to another. Similar changes are being considered inother parts of the administration.
