THALES TEAMS WITH RAYTHEON FOR TURKISH EW

ANKARA [MENL] -- The French electronics giant Thales has teamed with theU.S. company Raytheon to recapture a $190 million project to installelectronic warfare systems for Turkey's fleet of F-16s. Officials said Thales informed the Turkish military and Defense Ministryof the French contractor's partnership with Raytheon. Thales said the U.S.Air Force has approved the cooperation.
