GREECE DISMISSES U.S. PRESSURE TO STOP NAVAL DEAL

ATHENS [MENL] -- The government has dismissed U.S. pressure to halt theconclusion of a Greek naval deal. Greek government sources said Washington has urged Athens to reconsideran agreement with the Netherlands for the purchase of naval frigates. Thesources said the United States should wait until it responds with acounter-offer.
