GCC DRAFTS NEW POLICY ON CYPRUS

ANKARA [MENL] -- The Gulf Cooperation Council is said to have drafted a newpolicy on the Cypriot conflict. After years of supporting the unity of the island under the Republic ofCyprus, the GCC is moving toward Turkey's position for a confederation ofseparate Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entities.
