LONDON [MENL] -- The Iraqi opposition is quietly coordinating a militarycoalition meant to topple the regime of President Saddam Hussein. Opposition sources said they are recruiting political and formerofficers to join a military council that would plan a campaign againstSaddam. They said the council would seek to capitalize on the U.S.-led warin Afghanistan and the prospect that Washington would soon target the Saddamregime.
