ISRAEL DECLARES PA TERRORIST ENTITY

JERUSALEM [MENL] -- The Israeli government has declared the PalestinianAuthority a terrorist entity in a move that opens the way for the topplingof the regime led by Yasser Arafat. The Cabinet decided on a range of operations against the PA. Theoperations -- which were not detailed -- are to include diplomatic,economic, information and military measures. Labor Party ministers led byForeign Minister Shimon Peres walked out of the meeting and did notparticipate in the vote.
