PA CONTINUES BAN ON PRO-BIN LADEN DEMOS

GAZA [MENL] -- The Palestinian Authority has continued its crackdown againstdissidents in a drive to end demonstrations in support of Saudi billionairefugitive Osama Bin Laden. Palestinian authorities have banned foreign reporters from PA-held areasand arrested newspaper editors. Authorities also declared areas in Gaza asoff-limits out of concern that Bin Laden supporters would stagedemonstrations over the weekend. Security was also beefed up around PAinstallations in Gaza City to ward off attacks by opposition forces.
