U.S. PREDATOR UAVs REQUIRE MODIFICATION

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Pentagon plans to order modifications in thePredator and Global Hawk unmanned air vehicles to ensure their use in combatoperations. Pentagon officials said the Predator has been used as a combat UAV inAfghanistan. The officials said the use was meant to demonstrate the conceptof a UAV that could attack stationary and moving targets in war time.
